NASA SHARP Students Sponsored and Trained at Stevens Inst. of Technology
Of the over 100 students participating in the program, these specific six students were trained at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. Emanuel Towns II, Robert Brown and Randy Parilla (left to right) formed a team to work on the “Design and Development of a Terrestrial Exploration Air Vehicle.” Mario Garmendez was responsible for maintaining the SHARP web site. Jeffrey Mensch worked on a project entitled, “Modeling and Analysis of a Wind Turbine Blade with Active Control using a Shape Memory Alloy” and Yasha Okshtein worked on a robotics project.
