Prof. Haim Baruh teaches and conducts research in the areas of dynamics, vibrations and control. His current research interests include analysis and control of constrained flexible mechanisms, structural vibration control using piezoelectric elements, analysis of the fundamental equations of dynamics, and control of agricultural systems.
Dr. Baruh is the author of over 40 journal papers and the textbook Analytical Dynamics, published by McGraw-Hill. His research has been sponsored by NSF and FAA and various centers within Rutgers University. Dr. Baruh recently completed a six-year term an Associate Editor for the AIAA Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics. He serves as the representative from Rutgers to the New Jersey Space Grant Consortium. He is an Associate Fellow of AIAA. He is the faculty advisor to the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
